As the Assistant Dean of the University of Georgia Graduate School I work with faculty across campus to enhance graduate education. I support them in the development of training grants, research opportunities, coursework, certificate programs, and degree programs. I also lead workshops and a teach a course in Communication of Research and Scholarship, and I organize UGA's Three Minute Thesis competition. Alongside these administrative activities, I maintain an active research agenda and teach in the interdisciplinary Integrative Conservation doctoral program.

I'm pleased to announce that the book I edited with Anne Sourdril and Brian Burke -- Changing Climate, Changing Worlds: Local Knowledge and the Challenges of Social and Ecological Change -- has just been released by Springer Nature. Excerpts from the book are available on the Research page.
